Old Ash Barns are located in the hamlet of Ingleby, overlooking the river Trent, 12 miles south of Derby. We acquired the site in October 2000 as semi-derelict farm buildings which were no longer viable for modern farming requirements.The completed development incorporates three luxury 4 bedroom homes around a central courtyard. They have been extensively restored retaining many of the original features of the buildings structure, whilst providing all the high specification comforts of a new home. Designed by Douglas and Fordham Architects and built in 1894, Brocksford Hall is located 1 mile from Doveridge. The grade II listed building stands in it's own magnificent grounds. We acquired the 35 acre estate in 1994 following the closure of a privately owned school. The aim was to restore the institutionalised buildings retaining as many of the original residential features as possible. We created and improved a total of 9 dwellings which have been subsequently sold. In addition, the main Hall has been converted to incorporate 6 luxury apartments which are available to let.
